Harriet’s Holiday Open House
	December 5 – A Holiday Open House Free admission for those bringing a non-perishable food item or new, unwrapped gift for those unable to receive a Santa Visit due to financial situations. Enjoy refreshments and special offers in the Gift Store. Celebrate the season at the NEC! more

Golden Eagle Research Project
	The National Eagle Center is pleased to announce a joint partnership with Audubon Minnesota, MN Department of Natural Resources Non-game and WI Department of Natural Resources, to further study the wintering population of Golden Eagles in and around the SE Minnesota, SW Wisconsin section of the Mississippi Flyway. more

Soar with the Eagles
	THE GREAT NORTHERN MIGRATION! Each weekend in March is dedicated to a different theme: the eagle, the flyway, the river and the human connection. more

Earth Day
	April 22 – It’s a Birthday Party at the National Eagle Center! We’re celebrating the birthdays or rather Hatch Days of our five beautiful birds!. more

National American Eagle Day
	On April 26, 2007, the US Senate unanimously passed a resolution making June 20th “American Bald Eagle Day.” At the National Eagle Center, we celebrate American Eagle Day with special classes dedicated to the selection of the Bald Eagle as American’s national symbol, the recovery and restoration of the American bald eagle, as the American traditions and ideals for which it stands.. more

4th of July Celebration
	Join us to celebrate our country’s Birthday! Open from 10am to 5pm with Eagle Education programs at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Additional programs will be added if needed to ensure ALL GUESTS have the best experience possible. more

Veterans
	At the National Eagle Center, honoring our Veterans and active military is a daily practice, not a sporadic thought. Our five eagles have been dedicated to those who have fought to preserve the freedom that our nation and its people enjoy. If you are a Veteran or Active Military, you are invited to the National Eagle Center AT NO COST. You are our honored guests, greatly appreciated for your service and sacrifice.
