National American Eagle Day

June 20

On April 26, 2007, the US Senate unanimously passed a resolution making June 20th “American Bald Eagle Day.” At the National Eagle Center, we celebrate American Eagle Day with special classes dedicated to the selection of the Bald Eagle as American’s national symbol, the recovery and restoration of the American bald eagle, as the American traditions and ideals for which it stands.
