Come nose to beak with the eagles of the Mississippi River! To mark the beginning of the migration season, other significant wildlife activity
and boat traffic the National Eagle Center is proud to host the 2009 Soar With the Eagles Festival.
Held each weekend in March,
these special events celebrate the eagles of the
Mississippi River and feature many activities, seminars and special
guests to educate you on some of our area’s most amazing wildlife.

The Mississippi River at Wabasha
is a favorite over wintering area for hundreds of bald eagles, as well
as home to countless year-round resident eagles.
Come share with us the beauty of this great raptor by visiting the
National Eagle Center. We are located in Wabasha, Minnesota just a short
drive from the Twin Cities, Rochester, Winona, Lacrosse and Eau Claire,
Wisconsin.
Our river deck is open 24/7 for eagle observation, and our center is
open Daily 10am - 5pm.
Meet our live education eagles in
our cage-free viewing area, ask our staff about eagles, take in an eagle
feeding program, and shoot all the photos you like. more...
